I had a lovely time learning how to make Dutch pancakes with Fusina! Fusina welcomed us to her beautiful and full of personality apartment located in the heart of Amsterdam canal districts.
Fusina is extremely friendly and a great storyteller. It was great to hear about Dutch traditions, Dutch food and also Fusina’s personal impressive life story, most recently as a cook book author.
The Dutch Pancakes were delicious and it was very fun to learn how to cook it. Fusina was very patient with my lack of flipping pancakes skills.
All in all a great experience!

My daughter (14) and I had a lovely morning with Fusina making pancakes. She warmly welcomed us into her cozy home. We had a great time learning to make Dutch pancakes - one with caramelized apples and the other with crisp bacon. We enjoyed learning about Dutch culture, customs and food. Fusina also prepared other delicious traditional foods for us to try. We would highly recommend this experience.- Clay November 26, 2025

It is always so wonderful to meet a local and be welcomed into their home for an experience like this - to learn about the culture and the food and the people...we love to do this early on in the trip so that we actually feel more local ourselves as we continue in our holiday. Fusina gave us some fabulous restaurant recommendations for the remainder of our time in Amsterdam as well!- Doris July 30, 2025
